Dr. Indran Krishnan, Atlanta gastroenterologist from Duluth and a Clinical Associate Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, was honored at the Georgia State Capitol for medical and community service.

After commendable performances by Japen Patel and Anand Tummala helped the Atlanta Georgia Cricket Conference (AGCC) become champions of the Southeast Region, both cricketers have received further honors.

Rifka Mayani has already been connecting India and Atlanta through a student leadership exchange between Kennesaw State University (KSU) and institutions in India. Now she has also begun teaching Bharathanatyam at KSU.

Simi Nitin Shah, aged 13, was awarded the prestigious Lynn Freeman Olson Composition Award (Intermediate category) for her composition, “Fragile Dreams,” which will be published as “an excellent contribution to the world of piano teaching literature.”
