At TiE Atlanta’s Youth Entrepreneurship (TYE) Pitch Competition, held on April 13, 2019, at Genuine Parts Headquarters in Cobb County, an Indian American student team, CleanMyEco (shown at left), won the TYE High School competition. CleanMyEco team members Srishti Singh, Serena Mammen, Sonum Agaral, Ameya Rekapalli, and Praval Kandimalla were named the winners for their project to help small businesses become more environment friendly by enabling better ways to purchase carbon offset. Next up for these talented kids is the TYE Global Conference in Boston, MA on June 21 , 2019, where the team will compete for a $15,000 prize.
UPDATE: Team CleanMyEco headed to Boston on June 20 to compete in the TYE Globals Competition. The TiE Atlanta team went up against 25 teams from TiE chapters across the US, Canada, India, and Australia for the top prize in youth entrepreneurship. CleanMyEco took home the award for “Best Execution.”

TYE was launched in 2010 and has since become Atlanta’s signature youth entrepreneurship program.
TYE High School has over 350 graduates, more than 100 engaged mentors, and placed 53 students in competitive internships. Happily, in the last five years, Atlanta’s high school teams have featured in the top three positions at the TYE Global Conference.
