Pranay Mamileti has been named the recipient of the 2026 Marion Luther Brittain Award, the highest honor bestowed on an undergraduate student at Emory University. Presented annually to the graduating senior who has performed the most significant, meritorious, and devoted service to the university, the award recognizes exceptional leadership, integrity, and commitment to the Emory community. A political science and business double major from California, Mamileti built a reputation as a student leader dedicated to improving campus life through collaboration and practical problem-solving. As vice president of the Emory Student
Government Association, he founded the Peer Advocate Office, a student-run resource that helps students navigate financial aid, academic advising, housing, and other university services. He worked with administrators across multiple departments to develop volunteer training and establish the office before its launch. His other initiatives include voter registration drives, revisions to Emory’s open expression policy, and he also partnered with Emory’s Sexual Assault Peer Advocates to revive the SAFE Greeks initiative.
