Dr. Anu Bhat, an Atlanta-based rheumatologist and community leader, received a National Women’s History Month Award from the City of Stockbridge, honoring her contributions under the theme “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future.” Recognized as a Top Georgia Rheumatologist in 2018, she serves as a trustee of the Nrupathunga Kannada Koota and holds leadership positions with the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin (AAPI), the Indian American International Chamber of Commerce, and the Hindu Temple of Atlanta. Alongside Subrahmanya Bhat, she also established the Subra, Anu & Kiran Foundation. Dr. Bhat has also been named President of the North America Vishwa Kannada Association.
