Atlanta attorney Lalitha Alladi has been named president of the South Asian Bar Association of North America (SABA), the largest organization representing South Asian legal professionals across the United States and Canada. She was sworn in during SABA’s 2026 Annual Conference in San Diego.
Alladi has been involved in SABA leadership since 2017, serving in several positions at the local and national levels. She previously held leadership roles with the South Asian Bar Association of Florida and served as president of the South Asian Bar Association of Georgia in 2022.
As president, Alladi will focus on strengthening SABA’s chapters and membership, expanding professional development and mentorship opportunities, advancing advocacy, and building connections among South Asian attorneys, legal professionals, and law students. Her term will also lead into SABA North America’s 25th anniversary in 2027.
With more than 20 years of legal experience, Alladi is the founding attorney of Alladi Law, an Atlanta-based immigration law practice.
She is also a co-founder and immediate past president of Shakthi US, a nonprofit organization that assists South Asian survivors of domestic abuse and works to address language, cultural, and religious barriers that can make it difficult for survivors to seek help.
SABA North America represents more than 12,000 members and constituents through its network of local chapters and national initiatives focused on professional development, mentorship, advocacy, networking, and community building.
