Mahak Jain of Bhopal, India, who committed to Georgia Tech University in 2019, is part of the Georgia Tech women’s tennis 2020 recruiting class, ranked no. 2 by Tennis Recruiting Network and Mizuno, the sportswear and equipment company. A World Tennis Association (WTA) player, Jain boasts an 11.94 UTR rating. Having competed in main draws of the U.S. Open, Wimbledon, and Australian Open, she enjoyed early success on the Junior Tennis Tour with her best ranking at 29 in the world. Soon after, she started competing on the pro tour. At 17, she got her best ranking of 511 WTA. Working with Tech coaches has earned her tournament titles in Santa Maria 2018 and Ojai 2019.
