Preity Zinta has made her much awaited comeback with Batwara:1947 , after staying away from the big screen for almost eight years. She plays a Muslim woman whose husband, played by Sunny Deol, gives shelter to a Hindu woman in their Lahore home during the turbulent days following the partition of India. Preity was last seen in the 2018 action-comedy Bhaiyyaji Superhit. Sunny Deol played her husband in this one too.
By the way, Preity,  Aamir, and Sunny recently lit up the small screen as they appeared on the popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by Amitabh Bachchan.
