Rifka Mayani, Associate Director in the Enterprise
Systems and Services department at Kennesaw
State University, received a Silver Award for “The
Chancellor’s Customer Service Leadership of the
Year.” Rifka was one of three nominees from 35
Institutions and 200,000 administrators in the
Georgia State Board of Regents. This
follows her recognition and award
from Kennesaw State University
on August 15, voted by KSU
staff senate from over
3,000 administrators and
presented by the KSU
President Dr. Dan Papp.

Rifka has encouraged
her teams to seek out and
build relationships with
other departments at the
University as well as encouraging
them to work closely with their
external vendors. Rifka has served in
many leadership roles at Kennesaw State and in the
community. Most notably she has served in a leadership
capacity on the University Administrator Senate
since 2009.
It is the spirit of service and willingness to help
others that keeps her going, going, and going.
