Ayush Dayal featured in Great American Moments Series on TBS

Thirteen-year-old Ayush Dayal, an 8th grade student at The Westminster Schools in Atlanta, was recently selected by the Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) to do a 30-second clip for their “Great American Moments” series. His public service announcement�along with other similar clips on pioneers, inventors, athletes, entertainers and community leaders who have shaped the U.S.�is aired every now and then between regularly scheduled programs. The broadcast started last month and will continue for the rest of the year. The clip can also be viewed on the TBS website at . Ayub is the only Indian American participant in the group, which has a total of 23 students from metro Atlanta. His clip is about Subrahmanyam Chandrasekhar, the India-born astrophysicist who won the Nobel Prize in 1983. As Ayush notes, the Chandra X-ray Observatory was named after him.
