Fans of Sanjay Dutt would be thrilled to know that the actor will be back as Balloo Prasad, the iconic anti-hero of the 1993 cult film Khalnayak, in a sequel titled Khalnayak Returns. The teaser unveiled recently shows Sanjay in a rugged, battle-worn avatar. Interestingly, Sanjay said that the idea for the movie took shape during his imprisonment in the 1993 Mumbai blasts case, with creative inputs from thousands of fellow inmates.
The original Khalnayak was directed by Subhash Ghai and also starred Madhuri Dixit and Jackie Shroff.
