After multiple delays, the highly anticipated action thriller Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is finally scheduled to release in cinemas on August 26. This period gangster film, featuring Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, and Huma Qureshi, was directed by Geetu Mohandas.
The sequel to the cult comedy Khosla ka Ghosla is set to hit the screens on August 28. Khosla ka Ghosla 2 will bring back the original cast members including Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Ranvir Shorey, and Kiran Juneja.
The much awaited Lahore 1947 is slated for an August 14 release. Also releasing on August 14 is Awarapan 2, starring Emraan Hashmi and Disha Patani. Shabana Azmi plays a pivotal role in this action thriller.
Twenty-five years after Lagaan, Aamir Khan and Ashutosh Gowariker are reportedly teaming up for another sports drama, titled Lalkaar. Set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition, the film focuses on the legendary Indian cricketer Lala Amarnath, to be played by Aamir.
