It was a night of nostalgia as the cast and crew of Lagaan came together for a special reunion to mark the film’s 25th anniversary. Hosted by Aamir Khan and the film’s director, Ashutosh Gowariker, the event turned out to be a star-studded celebration of one of Hindi cinema’s most iconic and loved movies. Among the attendees were Salman Khan (in a new rugged avatar), Rekha, Kareena Kapoor, Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Rajkumar Hirani, Zoya Akhtar, and Imran Khan.
A highlight of the event was the presence of British actor Paul Blackthorne, famously remembered for playing the ruthless Captain Andrew Russell in the film.
