4. A Karnataka man filed for divorce on grounds of “cruelty,” claiming that it was cruel that his wife did not do any cooking and other household chores.
5. The Supreme Court of India denied the man’s divorce claim, saying, “You’re not marrying a maid, you’re marrying a life partner.”
