Venkat Duggireddy honored with Poorna Nandi Telugu Tejam Award 2026

Atlanta resident Venkat Duggireddy was recognized with the Poorna Nandi Telugu Tejam Award 2026, presented by the Telangana Cultural and Living Arts and Movie Art Association. The award honors individuals for their contributions to Telugu culture, community development, and public service.

A celebration marking the recognition was held at Celebrations Event Hall in Cumming, Georgia, drawing family members, friends, community leaders, business professionals, and well-wishers from across the metro Atlanta area.

Among those in attendance were Georgia State Representative Todd Jones, autism specialist Dr. A.M. Reddy, Johns Creek City Council Member Dilip Tunki, Intersect Groups CEO David Baba, actor Tony F. Charles, known for his work in Black Panther, Wissen Tech CEO Upendra Rachupally, Rapid IT CEO Gowtham Goli, and other members of the Atlanta Telugu and Indian American community.

During the event, Duggireddy thanked his family, friends, mentors, colleagues, and community members for their support. He also spoke about the importance of community service, preserving cultural heritage, and encouraging future generations to make meaningful contributions to society.

The evening featured tributes and messages recognizing Duggireddy’s leadership and service. Speakers highlighted his efforts to support community initiatives and strengthen cultural ties.

Organizers said the recognition reflects Duggireddy’s contributions to the Telugu community and serves as an opportunity to acknowledge individuals whose work promotes cultural values and civic engagement.
