Tarang celebrates music, culture, and community in Atlanta

The Writers’ Forum and Urdu Library Atlanta presented Tarang on May 29, bringing together music lovers for an evening celebrating culture, heritage, and community.

The program featured performances by Rekha Pallath, Ahin Das, Ejaz Naqvi, Qurratulain Naqvi, Saniya Yarkhan, and Natasha Naqvi. Through songs in Urdu, Hindi, and Bengali, the artists showcased the rich cultural traditions of South Asia while creating a shared experience that transcended language and resonated with a diverse audience.

Kamran Khimani emceed the event, guiding the program with warmth, humor, and professionalism and helping maintain an engaging atmosphere throughout the evening.

Guests enjoyed an environment of friendship and cultural exchange as music filled the hall. The event reflected the Writers’ Forum and Urdu Library Atlanta’s continuing commitment to promoting literary and cultural connections within the community.
