
In the annual dance festival of the Nataraja Naatyanjali Kuchipudi Dance Academy, a total of 168 students presented spectacular Kuchipudi performances before an audience of more than 700 at Denmark High School in Alpharetta on March 8, 2026.
Organized under the theme Naatyanjali 2026 – Dance for a Cause, the recital featured 28 vibrant Kuchipudi dance performances. Performers ranged from four-year-old children to adult dancers aged 45, reflecting the academy’s mission to preserve and promote the rich tradition of Indian classical dance across generations.

Funds raised during the event will support three organizations: Shantiniketan Rehabilitation Center for disabled children, Sankara Nethralaya USA, and The Place, a charity that assists residents of Forsyth and Dawson Counties with essential needs while helping them become self-sustaining.

The students’ impressive performances reflected Natya Guru Smt. Neelima Gaddamanugu’s tireless guidance, mentorship, and unwavering devotion to the art form.
The event was attended by several prominent community leaders and distinguished guests, including representatives from Indian Friends of Atlanta, GATES Global Association for Telugu Entrepreneurs, Telugu Association of Metro Atlanta, and others.
The annual Naatyanjali Dance Recital once again demonstrated how performing arts can unite communities while supporting meaningful charitable causes. Through the dedication of students, families, sponsors, and volunteers, the event stood a a beautiful example of culture, service, and community coming together for a greater purpose.
