Indian Railways can be more helpful to foreign travelers
Can you or your readers help me with any information about how to buy Indian Railways tickets online, using a credit card issued by a U.S. bank? My research shows that it is currently not possible. If that is the case, perhaps your magazine can raise this issue more prominently as I feel this can significantly encourage and streamline tourism in India. Many travelers from the U.S. will be highly impacted by this.
Perhaps you can run a story or publish my e-mail in your magazine on this very important and timely topic. When airline bookings for India can be made online and paid for with U.S. credit cards, why not rail tickets?
