Khabar Directory
Coming Soon: Feature Attraction
In a mailbox near you
If, by now, you have heard enough about the Khabar 2005 Community and Business Directory, and are ready to actually see it, that is well and good. Keep an eye out for it in your mailbox towards the end of March.
There are a few things about the Directory that you may like to know. Our goal was to make it such that it would be used daily and extensively. The listings of over 100 community associations, over 50 restaurants, and over 50 grocery and retail stores, is a small indication of its comprehensiveness. If it is Indian or South Asian, rest assured, it is in the Directory.
While the publication will be a very large marketplace for our community, it is not just a "yellow pages" compilation of products and services. We have also attempted to provide a small glimpse of our community and its successes. Moreover, there is carefully selected resource information that will help our people better access ethnic as well as mainstream resources. Another vital function that we hope it will serve is to provide the mainstream a powerful access to our people, institutions, products and services. To that end, we will be supplying copies to various chambers of commerce as well as libraries in the area.
Please note that the Directory will be mailed free to all current subscribers of Khabar. However, it is NOT offered free to new subscribers that have signed up after the initial bulk mailing of the Directory. So do what you must to personalize and label your copy!
Additional copies will be available for sale for $8.00 at several Indo-Pak-Bangla retail locations all around Georgia. (If you are a retailer looking to stock the Directories, please call us at (770) 451-7666.).
We hope you will enjoy using the Directory as much as we have enjoyed working on it.
