If the projected release dates of some movies are to go by, then six biggies ? including Ram Gopal Verma 's Naach , Yash Chopra's Veer-Zaara , Anil Sharma's Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo , Abbas Mustan's Aitraaz , Priyadarshan's Hulchul and Sanjay Gupta's Musafir ? are all scheduled to hit the screens on November 12.
Sunny Deol makes a comeback after a hiatus in Rok Sako To Rok Lo, the directorial debut of management guru Arindam Chaudhary, author of Count Your Chickens Before They Hatch. This film is also slated for a November 12 (Diwali) release.
The glamorous Shetty sisters ? Shilpa and Shamita ? will soon share screen space for the first time, thanks to Deepak Tijori who has cast the siblings in his next venture Fareb, along with Manoj Bajpai. But they don't play sisters in the movie. Meanwhile, Deepak's other film titled Khamosh will mark Juhi Chawla's return to the big screen after a gap. She was last seen in Jhankaar Beats.
Dimple Kapadia and Rishi Kapoor are coming together after 19 long years in Hriday Shetty's Yeh Dil Nadaan. They were last seen in Ramesh Sippy's Saagar.
Mahesh Bhatt is all set to direct a film about the issues facing the Muslim community in the country, based on a script penned by eminent novelist Amitava Kumar (author of The Husband of a Fanatic) and it will have actor Irfan Khan playing the lead role. The story depicts 24 hours in the life of the protagonist, where he reflects on the life of his forefathers and the services they have done for their motherland.
Shabana Azmi is just back from Hollywood after having worked in Waterborne, a film on mainstream American politics that deals with the threat to the water system in Los Angeles.
