Pooja Bhatt's Paap and Urmila, Manoj Bajpai-starrer Pinjar are likely to be premiered at the Kara Film Festival to be held in Karachi (Pakistan) in December this year.
Filmmaker Govind Menon is all set to recreate the infamous Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky affair on celluloid with the Khwahish girl Mallika Sherawat playing Ms Lewinsky. Menon describes the as yet untitled film as a "whacked-out comedy". He has signed Mallika even for his forthcoming Double Attraction.
Kalpana Lajmi is back in action with her latest film, Kyon starring model-turned actor Rahul Dev and a bunch of fresh faces.
Bollywood bad man Gulshan Grover's latest international venture has taken him towards the Tibetan cause. In the film We Are Not Monks he plays a cop who tries to tackle the problem of youth taking to drugs.
Filmmaker Umesh Mehra has his hands full with two joint ventures with Hollywood. The first one is a film based on Barbara Cartland's romantic novels (as yet untitled) and the other is a collaboration with Tarsem Singh, best known for his Jennifer Lopez-starrer The Cell, for a film titled The Fall.
Boney Kapoor has launched a new film. Entitled No Entry, the movie directed by Anees Bazmi stars Salman Khan, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, Fardeen Khan and of course Anil Kapoor.
Raveena Tandon is doing two films directed by ad-guru Prahlad Kakkar. In one she plays a superstar being pursued by two men Fardeen Khan and Saif Ali Khan. The other project is a thriller and will star Raveena and Urmila Matondkar as two completely contrasting sisters. Besides, Ravs plays a female don in Madhur Bhandarkar's Aan. She is also doing Jago which is slated for a November release.
