The interesting threesome of Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan and Vivek Oberoi have been signed to act in a Mani Ratnam film titled Guru. The Parineeta girl Vidya Balan is also acting in it. Meanwhile, Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi has said that he wants only Aishwarya as Sanjukta for his dream project. Sunny Deol has already been finalised to play Prithviraj Chauhan.
Amisha Patel is on a roll. Farhan Akhtar has signed her for his new movie which he is producing along with Ritesh Sidhwani. Titled Honeymoon Travel's Pvt Ltd, the film will be directed by Reema Kagdi and the shooting will begin in March. The film also stars Shabana Azmi, Abhay Deol and Kay Kay. Besides, Amisha also has Vikram Bhatt's Ankahee, Harry Baweja's Teesri Aankh and Anubhav Sinha's Tathastu opposite Sanjay Dutt, in her kitty. Amisha has also replaced Lara Dutta in Dharmesh Darshan's Aap Ki Khatir, in which she plays Priyanka Chopra's sister.
Pakistani actress Meera claims that she has been signed for Mahesh Bhatt's Akelaapan to be directed by Pooja Bhatt, another film based on Parveen Babi's life.
Sushmita Sen reportedly has started shooting in Argentina with Richard Gere for a film titled Expats. She plays a Pakistani in it.
Believe it or not, Jackie Shroff is being directed by a 9-year-old wonderboy, Master Kishan for a Hindi feature film titled c/o Footpath. The film revolves around a prodigy from the slums who gets noticed by the chief minister who then helps the boy climb the academic ladder. Jackie essays the role of the chief minister.
