A TOP-RATED HIMALAYAN SKI DESTINATION

As a harsh winter in the U.S. comes to an end (we hope),
snow is not what people have in mind. Unless they enjoy skiing. India doesn’t
register when we think about ski resorts. However, according to CNN
International, India has one of the top 10 ski destinations in Asia. This resort
is in Gulmarg, a Himalayan town that’s over 8,800 feet above sea level. Needless
to say, it has no artificial snow. Given its proximity to Srinagar in the
troubled state of Kashmir, Gulmarg didn’t see a lot of tourists until recently.
