Yugeshwar Muralidhar, a senior in the STEM Academy at Forsyth Central High School, has been selected as a Coolidge Senator by the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation. The evaluation was based on grades, college entrance examination scores, leadership, service, a personal statement, and essays on The Autobiography of Calvin Coolidge. Yugeshwar has served as State Parliamentarian for Georgia Future Business Leaders of America, Youth Mayor of the Cumming Youth Council, and a CTAE Ambassador. The honor includes a $1000 college scholarship and an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C. There will be a tour of the White House as well as meetings with congressional aides, high-ranking civil servants, Supreme Court clerks, and other officials.
