Parag Shah is a trial lawyer who was featured as an expert in criminal defense on NPR's This American Life, episode 430, “Very Tough Love.” He regularly provides legal commentary on CNN's Nancy Grace. He has been acknowledged as Georgia’s Top 40 Under 40 by the Daily Report, a "Rising Star" by Super Lawyers Magazine and Georgia Trend Magazine; "AV" rated by Martindale Hubbell; and rated 10 out of 10 by Avvo.com. He is the author of three widely acclaimed, annually revised books: The Code Criminal, The Code Civil, and The Code Evidence. The son of Indian immigrants, he decided to give law school a shot, and “It just clicked!” he says. “I loved it.” “I keep it small so I can do it right.” And he helps John Marshall Law School students pick pro bono criminal cases and take them all the way to trial.
