Three Indian-Americans among 10 finalists for TiE Atlanta Award
Ten Atlanta entrepreneurs were chosen as honorees for TiE Atlanta’s 2019 Top Entrepreneur Awards and recognized at TiECON, TiE Atlanta’s annual entrepreneur conference, on September 27, 2019 at the Crowne Plaza Ravinia, Dunwoody.
These awards recognize Atlanta entrepreneurs whose companies have been in business from January 2015, and made a minimum revenue of $2 million and no more of $100 million. The awards are based on revenue growth, profitability, sustainability, leadership, culture, and innovation.
Honorees include the following:
Sandeep Gauba (left), President and CEO – GoProcure
He was also a finalist in 2018,
in the Upper Market category
for his role as CEO of Metasys
Technologies. A graduate of IIT
Delhi (B.Tech, Civil Engineering)
and the University of Maryland
(MBA), his specialty is in
leveraging Information
Technology. GoProcure is a
computer software company in Duluth, GA.
Rajen Sheth, CEO – Boardwalk Development Group
He is a graduate of the
University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (BA, Economics &
Business) and the University of
Southern California – Marshall
School of Business (MBA).
His career covers 25 years in
Private Equity Commercial
Real Estate Investments
and Development, Investment Banking, Hedge
Fund Management, Strategy Consulting, Executive
Education, and National Account Sales. Boardwalk focuses
on self-storage.
Yaser Hameed, CEO – SyraInfotek
He was also a finalist in 2018
in the Middle Market category.
A graduate of Manonmaniam
Sundaranar University
(BE, Computer Software
Engineering), he is a business
development professional with
digital experience and cloud
expertise. His SyraInfotek DBA
CloudQ is a software services company in Alpharetta
that has been listed in the INC5000.
