Swati Gaur has been named the 2022 Medical Director of the Year (MDOY) by the Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Medical director at Georgia-based New Horizons at Lanier Park as well as New Horizons Limestone, Gaur is also the owner and medical director at the Senior Care Office. She is the medical director of Alliant Health Solutions Medical and director of the Georgia Department of Public Health Strike and Support Team. She also serves on the geriatrics faculty at Dartmouth College. Gaur, who earned her bachelor of medicine and surgery degrees from Bhopal, was a geriatric medicine fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and she earned her MBA from Georgia Tech.
