Sujatha Reddy recognized for Outstanding Community Service
August 2021
Sujatha Reddy was awarded “Most outstanding AAPI Community Service Award” 2020-21 at the AAPI Convention in Atlanta. She was recognized for “her exceptional contribution to the medical profession.” Dr. Reddy has received many prestigious awards including the “Hindu Vibhushan” for the year 2001. The other feathers in her cap include the Employee of the Year Award from the River Edge Behavioral Health Center in Macon in 2001, the Outstanding Achievement Award by TAMA in 2002, the Gandhi Humanitarian Award and TAMA Health Fair Award in 2003, and the Exemplary Community Service Award from Kurnool Medical College Alumni of North America in 2009. Georgia Asian Times recognized her among “25 Most Influential Asian Americans in Georgia” in May 2010. In 2011, she received the GAPI Physician of the Year Award as well as Sai Kuteer of Utah “Bringing the White Coat to the Needy” award. In 2012, she received an award from TANA for Outstanding Service to the Community, the Vidya Ratna award for Distinguished Services by ATA and Vamsee International, a Lifetime Achievement Award from TAMA, and the Distinguished Service Award by Viswayogi Viswamjee Maharaj. She further received Community Service Award by APNA in 2013, Outstanding Community Service Award by NATA in 2014, Community Service Award by TATA in 2015, Lifetime Achievement Award by TATA as well as Lifetime Achievement Award by Indo-American Press Club in 2017, Outstanding Americans Award by USPAACC Southeast Region in 2018, and Shakti Award by Narayan Seva Sansthan in 2019. She is also credited with organizing over 42 Sai Health Fairs which have served over 10,000 people till date.
