Subrahmanya Bhat appointed president of AKMG
Dr. Subrahmanya Bhat of Atlanta has been appointed the president of Association of Kerala Medical Graduates (AKMG). Dr. Bhat graduated from Calicut Medical college with first class and received the prestigious Dr. Pisharidy Memorial Gold medal in medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and integrative pain management. He serves as board member at Clayton State University, Hindu Temple of Atlanta, and Good Shepherd Clinic, serving underprivileged people. Having established several educational scholarships in Atlanta and in India, the Bhat family recently started a foundation for community service, health, and education.
