Students to represent Georgia at national business leaders conference
Anvith Reddy, Shalu Patel, and Sanisha Shah are three of the eleven high school students who have qualified to represent the Gwinnett school district and Georgia at the 2018 Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference after placing 1st or 2nd in the FBLA state competition. The national conference will be held in June in Baltimore, Maryland.
From Brookwood HS, Anvith Reddy took 1st Place in the Public Service Announcement Event.
From Collins Hill HS, Shalu Patel took 1st Place in the Georgia FBLA Monopoly Tournament.
From Peachtree Ridge HS, Sanisha Shah took 2nd Place in the Marketing Team Event.
FBLA is the largest student business organization in the world with more than 250,000 members and is an important partner in business education and student leadership development. This career and technical student organization is recognized by the U.S. Departments of Education and Labor as an integral part of a co-curricular approach to business and leadership education. The FBLA mission is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.
