Shyam K. Reddy appointed chair of the Carter Center’s Board of Councilors
Shyam K. Reddy has been appointed chair of the Carter Center’s Board of Councilors for 2020. Founded in 1987, The Carter Center Board includes 215 members and is tasked with promoting understanding of the Carter Center and its activities among opinion leaders and the broader community. As the chief administrative officer and senior vice president of corporate development at BlueLinx Corporation, Reddy follows outgoing chair Dan Cathy, chairman, president and CEO of Chick-fil-A. Reddy is a graduate of the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and the University of Georgia School of Law. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Atlanta, and a trustee of The German Marshall Fund of the United States and The Woodruff Arts Center.
