Sathvik Namburar Receives Scholarship
Sathvik Namburar, a senior at Woodward Academy, was recently announced as OCA-Georgia’s Scholarship winner. Sathvik intends to pursue medicine at John Hopkins University. A valedictorian with overall GPA of 4.53 and 36 composite in ACT, he published independent science research while doing a study at Georgia Tech. He also won the Departmental Recognition Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science, and has participated in the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program, the Intel Science Talent Search, National Honor Society, and Spanish Honor Society.
Beyond studies, he volunteers, plays chess and JV tennis, and received the Coach’s Award for Leadership Excellence in 10th grade. Section leader in the orchestra, he has been playing violin since he was in the 1st grade.
