Sanjoy Malik’s company earns Top Product of the Year Award
Environmental Leader, a trade publication focused on energy, environmental, and sustainability issues, gave Urjanet’s Utility Data Service its Top Product of the Year Award. Urjanet is a leading global provider of automated, standardized utility data, and a graduate of Georgia Tech’s VentureLab, an incubator program.
The Utility Data Service collects and manages utility consumption and cost data. It was judged by professionals from the US Department of Energy, the University of California Berkeley, University of Colorado, General Motors, ConAgra Foods, and other companies.
“We are pleased that we have become the standard for utility data,” said Sanjoy Malik, CEO of Urjanet, “and that our data is used by both the world’s biggest corporations and leading energy and sustainability solutions providers.”
