Neha Devineni receives a Prudential award
Neha Devineni, 17, from Atlanta, a high school senior at Riverwood International Charter School, is the founder of ASA (“Aspire, Serve, Achieve”), a nonprofit she started in 2017 to help underprivileged children with nutrition, sanitation, and education. The organization now has chapters in Georgia, Texas, Michigan, and India. She was selected as one of two top youth volunteers in Georgia for Prudential’s Spirit of Community Awards (2020). Atlanta InTown has also recognized Neha’s work—she is a finalist among this year’s 20 Under 20 honorees, chosen from among 80 nominations, to recognize student volunteers working in the areas of environment and social justice.
