KSU picks Rifka Mayani as outstanding staff member

In a ceremony on August 15, 2012, Kennesaw State University (KSU) recognized Rifka Mayani, associate director of operations for enterprise systems and services, as Administrator of the Year. She was given a plaque by President Daniel Papp and awarded a cash prize. The university has over 24,000 students and over 3,000 employees. Rifka has given over 15 years of service to the university, including 2 years teaching Business Information Systems at the Coles College of Business and 7 years as Assistant Director for Training and Student Support before moving to the faculty position. She has been contributing as president of the Administrators Senate, on the President’s Budget Advisory Committee, managing the University’s Enterprise applications, negotiating and obtaining savings for the university, teaching Bharata Natyam, and much more.
