Indusa Investments, founded by 2003 UGA graduates Milan Patel and Umang Patel, ranks as this year’s 64th fastest growing Bulldog business out of 800 nominated from around the country. The firm specializes in long-term real estate investment strategies, rehabilitating distressed assets. It was started 8 years ago when the founders were 23 years old. Since then they have developed, bought, and sold several business outlets throughout Georgia and Alabama generating well over 250 jobs in the area. The company owns and operates five hotels, one quick serve restaurant, and one package store scattered throughout Southwest Georgia and central Alabama. It also owns and manages four retail strip center buildings and rental homes in various parts of Atlanta. Asset holdings have recently been diversified into distressed bank notes (loans).
“Indusa Investments has been fortunate to continue growing in today’s fragile environment through dedication and hard work. …This is an honor that is to be shared with our entire organization for they are the engines that drive our growth.” said Umang Patel. Also on the team are Vikash Patel, Vice President – Asset Management and Chirag Patel, Vice President – Hospitality Management.
