Gulshan Harjee receives Humanitarian Service Award from TCF-USA
November 2024
Dr. Gulshan Harjee has received a Humanitarian Service Award from The Citizens Foundations, USA, which offers education opportunities for underprivileged children. Dr. Harjee has previously received the 2021 Yellow Rose Nikki T. Randall Servant Leader Award, which is given to women who are changing their communities. She was nominated for this award by the Honorable Elena Parent of District 43 for co-founding the fastgrowing Clarkston Community Health Center. This linguistically, culturally, and ethnically sensitive volunteer-operated free clinic currently serves 5500 patients through eight academic collaborations. She has also been included among L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth National Honorees, Atlanta magazine’s 500 Most Powerful Leaders, and President George Bush’s Points of Light Honorees.
