Georgians honored in national beauty pageants

Georgia is not only famous for peaches, it is becoming famous for Indian-American beauties as well. At the Miss India USA and Miss Teen India USA pageants held on November 24, 2013 at Royal Albert’s Palace in New Jersey, Georgian contestants won 6 titles.
Of the 12 contestants in the Miss Teen India USA pageant, Alycia Rehmatullah, 15, (who was 2nd Runner-up Miss Teen India Georgia 2013) won the USA crown as well as the title Miss Beautiful Face. Georgian Sara Ahmed won 1st Runner-Up Miss Teen India USA as well as Miss Congeniality, and Georgian Sneha Govardhanagiri won Best Talent.
In the Miss India USA pageant, Reema Ukani (who was Miss India Georgia 2013) won the Miss Photogenic title. Millie Bhatia (who was 2nd Runner-Up Miss India Georgia 2013) earned a place in the Top 10; Pran Sharma Gangaraju also represented Georgia in the pageant.
Another Georgian, Akshaya Vijaykumar, who was also 2nd Runner-up Miss Teen India Georgia 2012 and won the first ever Miss Teen India USA 2012-13 pageant, was there to crown Alycia. Georgia is certainly full of beauties!
