Five “Southern Region Hot List” Attorneys: Nisha Karnani
Lawyers of Color recognizes early- to mid-career minority attorneys who are excelling in the legal profession. The 100 attorneys from the Southern Region honored in the Second Annual Hot List have noteworthy accomplishments.
Nisha Karnani has been a recipient of the Justice Robert Benham Award for Community Service and named a Georgia Super Lawyer Rising Star. At Antonini & Cohen, she represents clients in asylum, deportation, naturalization, employment, and family immigration issues, and she represents domestic violence victims in various immigration matters. She has served on Board of Directors for Raksha and the South Asian Bar Association of Georgia, as a Mentor for the Georgia Asylum and Immigration Network (GAIN), and she frequently lectures to other attorneys and to lay people at seminars and forums.
