DeKalb County recognizes business owners for 30 years service
The Commissioners and CEO of DeKalb County, Georgia have honored Mr. Dinesh and Mrs. Chitra Vaishnav, owners of Mr. Quick Copy and Printing in Decatur with a proclamation that salutes their 30+ years of personal service to the churches, schools, businesses and the people of South DeKalb County.
The Vaishnavs immigrated to the United States more than 36 years ago. In the 1980's, when the company that Mr. Vaishnav worked for, as an engineer, downsized, he was forced to find another job. His search led him to buy an almost bankrupt printing company in South DeKalb County. Through sheer will, hard work and dedication, and obstinate perseverance, Mr. and Mrs. Vaishnav developed an almost bankrupt printing company into a viable community resource providing upgraded printing services to the people, entrepreneurs, parishioners, and students of the county.
When asked about their success, the Vaishnavs said that like all immigrants who are accepted by their community, they were grateful to the County Commissioners and the CEO for their acknowledgement and most importantly, to the people of South Dekalb for their continued support of their business. They hope to find a worthy entrepreneur for Mr. Quick Copy and Printing who would continue to serve the good people of DeKalb County after they have retired. They were congratulated for personifying the hard work and dedication of immigrants from all lands to the United States.
