Business school in India named after Jagdish Sheth
December 2020
Notable global thinker and Padma Bhushan Awardee Jagdish Sheth has accepted that IFIM Business School in Bangalore be renamed in his name as the Jagdish Sheth School of Management. Prof. Sheth accepted the request of Sanjay Padode, chairman and business leader, who made the announcement at a special event to celebrate the school’s silver jubilee. This is one of the rare instances where an institution is being named to honor a globally renowned Indian academic and is not based on any endowment or grant. This is also a case where a trustee /promoter relinquished his position as chairman of the board to propel the school further on its globalization journey.
