Bhaumi Shah receives film & video production award
Bhaumi Shah, a student at North Gwinnett Middle School, won first place at the state level in film & video production for 6th grade in the Georgia PTA Reflections contest. The award was presented by National PTA President, Mr. Otha Thornton at the Woodruff Art Center. The theme of the contest was "The World Would Be a Better Place if…."
Bhaumi made a music video to the song “We Can Change the World” by Bridget Mendler. She and her mom filmed hundreds of clips at a local park and library, including donating books, recycling, encouraging less pollution, etc. Editing the video clips took Bhaumi several weeks—and then the video won at school, county, and state levels.
Bhaumi's parents have always taught her to follow her dreams and be the best at whatever she chooses to do. She enjoys videography and explores new software and devices for even better videos. To watch her video, search v=aD2e1NzDsns.
