Real estate litigation attorneys Ashoo Sharma and Angele Rishi have been named 2011 “Georgia Rising Stars” by Law & Politics Magazine and Atlanta Magazine. Both attorneys practice at Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco, P.C. The “Georgia Rising Star” award recognizes the top attorneys in the state who are either 40 years old or younger or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Angele Rishi is a partner in the firm and represents clients in litigation, arbitration, and negotiation of real estate disputes. She counsels national title insurance companies and also advises clients in the acquisition and development of hotels and medical and dental practices. She has successfully defended numerous clients in cases involving various types of liability and appraiser malpractice. Angele speaks and writes on issues of real property litigation and strategy. She received her BA degree from Emory University and her law degree from Georgia State University in 2002.
