Sudakshina Mukherjee's Atlanta Nritya Academy to compete in Dance USA Dance Nationals

Sudakshina Mukherjee's Atlanta Nritya Academy won Third Place in the Georgia Division of Dance USA Dance, earning a spot in the national competition. The team will be performing for $6,000 in cash prizes and in front of the legendary choreographer, Saroj Khan.
Sudakshina is trained in Bharatnatyam and Bollywood and teaches students of all ages. After participating in a recent workshop, the Academy presented a fusion, telling the story of Krishna through Bharatnatyam but to an English pop song. Saroj Khan pronounced it “beautiful,” and the Academy was chosen as a finalist to continue to the Nationals in New Jersey.
