Atlanta Business Chronicle picks Karan Ishwar for ‘40 under 40’
Karan Ishwar, Chief Financial Officer at SecurAmerica LLC has been selected by Atlanta Business Chronicle for its 40 Under 40 awards. The event is held annually to felicitate 40 young individuals under 40 years of age who are making significant career achievements and demonstrating social responsibility. This year’s celebration was held on November 7, 2019, at The Fairmont, Atlanta.
After earning an M.B.A. in Finance and an Engineering degree in Information Technology from NMIMS University in Mumbai, India, Karan joined SecurAmerica in 2014. The company is a national player in the contract security industry, operating in 35 markets and more than 800 locations. As CFO, he is responsible for strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, technology partnerships, investments, and market development initiatives. His experience in the areas of Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Cross-Border M&A advisory, Corporate Banking, and Technology ranges from large corporates to start-up ventures. His work has taken him to countries in Asia, Europe, and North America.
Karan is also on the Board of Directors of ACG Atlanta, a middle-market M&A (mergers and acquisitions) association in Atlanta with over 700 members and 20 events per year. Karan is a fan of cricket, tennis, and golf, and enjoys traveling and movies.
