Anushka Jain achieves top ACT score
Anushka Jain, a junior at Wheeler Magnet High School, Marietta, GA, did her parents Neeraj and Rijuta Jain proud when she achieved the highest possible ACT composite score of 36 in her very first attempt.
ACT is a curriculum-based exam that evaluates high school students’ proficiency in maths, reading, and science on a scale of 1-36 in four subjects. Anushka’s top composite score of 36 places her among the two-tenths of 1 percent of students in the U.S. who succeed in achieving this score.
In recognition of her achievement, ACT CEO Martin Roorda wrote a letter to Anushka, stating, “Your achievement on the ACT is significant and rare. Your exceptional scores will provide any college or university with ample evidence of your readiness for the academic rigors that lie ahead.”
Anushka is in Wheeler’s STEM program and loves academics, especially Life and Environmental Science, and currently holds a GPA of 4.6. She is the president of the Science Olympiad team and also participates in many extracurricular activities at school such as student council, helping hands volunteering, and several honor societies. Outside of school, she enjoys reading, blogging, and writing and aspires to be an author.
