Anant Madabhushi is a leader of Emory’s AI for Health Institute
Anant Madabhushi is one of the leaders of the Emory Empathetic AI for Health Institute which launched in November 2023. The institute hopes to use artificial intelligence to find patterns in health data to predict and improve patients’ health outcomes. Dr. Madabhushi is a Robert W. Woodruff professor at Emory University and the Georgia Institute of Technology’s Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering and a member of the Winship Cancer Institute’s Cancer Immunology research program. He is also a scientist who works with the Atlanta VA Medical Center, has authored over four hundred peer-reviewed publications, and holds over two hundred patents for AI and medical technologyrelated inventions.
