Agnihotri a finalist for Governor’s International Awards
Atlanta’s Anurag “Ani” Agnihotri has been championing USA-India business relations for the last 15 years. For his sustained efforts, he was a selected as a finalist in the Individual of the Year category for Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2013 Governor’s International Awards held in partnership with World Trade Center Atlanta. Others selected were John Eaves, Chairman – Fulton County Board of Commissioners and R. Mason Cargill, Partner – global law firm Jones Day. John Eaves was honored as winner in this category at an impressive dinner on Oct 3rd at the 2013 Atlanta World Showcase held at the Georgia International Convention Center.
Agnihotri is founder and managing partner of the Atlanta-based USIBRC and Co-Chair of USA India Business Summit (UIBS). He has been working with the Georgia Department of Economic Development, the Metro Atlanta Chamber, and Georgia’s educational institutions. As his award recognition states, “For his path breaking ground-level work, the government of the state of Karnataka, India, recognized him in February 2013 and a MOU (memorandum of understanding) was signed between the states of Georgia, USA, and Karnataka, India." He was also instrumental in starting India’s Supply Conference (ISCMOC) in partnership with the Georgia Tech Center for Business Education and Research (CIBER).
