WHAT MAKES YOU INDIAN?
The hashtag IAmSoIndian recently began trending on Twitter, allowing Indians everywhere to share some of their stereotypically Indian habits. Here are some of the contributions:
#IAmSoIndian that when one person falls sick in the family, the whole family has to eat khichdi. (From: @ chandramukhi)
#IAmSoIndian I still give dahi-shakkar to family members when they go out for important work. (@KaminiiB)
#IAmSoIndian that whenever I buy new bath soap I press the small piece of old soap over the new soap. (@Anandlokapur2)
#IAmSoIndian that before crossing a road I check both directions, even on a one-way. (@imKeyPee)
#IAmSoIndian that I collect plastic bags and save them in another plastic bag. (@TheRealAnybody)
#IAmSoIndian that I have to go on explaining to people why my daughter is opting for Humanities, as if it is not a stream. (@Arundhati_Rout)
#IAmSoIndian that I did 4 years of engineering before deciding what I actually wanted to do with my life. (@iTweetard)
#IAmSoIndian that I loosen my belt while eating. (@uttalakidi)
#IAmSoIndian that whenever I go to Domino’s, I collect the chili flakes packets. (@jainprateek2012)
#IAmSoIndian that I add ghee to Maggi noodles. (@JagratiShukla29)
