The VIP lounge at New Delhi international airport was partially closed for more than an hour as wildlife officials tried to capture a monkey that had sneaked inside through a hole in the ceiling. (Reuters)

A storekeeper in the zoology department of an Orissa college was shocked to discover that the official records showed he had been dismissed in 1998 and died in 2002, upon which his position was eliminated. The man had not been paid for almost a decade, but kept working at the college. (Sify.com)

External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee gave a speech on India's 'Look East' policy in the Assam city of Guwahati. Journalists were surprised to realize that it was the exact same speech he had delivered four months earlier in the Meghalaya state capital Shillong. (Sify.com)

Village leaders in Boraj, Rajasthan, were determined to find the person who raped and murdered a woman, so they got all the men in the village to strip down to their underwear and inspected them for any signs that they had been in a physical struggle.
