KINDNESS REWARDED WITH HOUSE
A Kerala woman named Supriya has been rewarded with a new house after her act of kindness was captured in a video and shared on social media. The woman, who works in a textile shop in the town of Thiruvalla, had spotted a visually impaired man attempting to catch a bus. She ran to the bus, gestured to the driver to wait, and helped the elderly man find his way to the door.
Hearing about the good deed, Joy Alukkas, chairman of the Joyalukkas Group, which owns the store where Supriya works, surprised her with a new house.
“It was a spontaneous act and I never thought this will fetch me so much of praise and love,” Supriya told Hindustan Times.
